September 2022 Reflection

Lookin’ good!

I started this month with good news and a number of goals, which include:

1. Review Python via DataCamp courses
2. Complete guided Python projects in DataCamp and/or Coursera
3. Complete a project using R
4. Push such projects onto my Github
5. Post weekly on this blog

How did I fare?

1. I completed several DataCamp Python courses:
   • Intermediate Python
   • Introduction to Data Visualization with Seaborn
   • Data Manipulation with Pandas
   • Introduction to Statistics in Python
2. I completed several guided Python (and SQL) projects in DataCamp.
3. Although I did not complete an R project, I completed two Python projects.
4. I pushed the projects above into my Github!
5. I posted weekly on this blog:
   • Guide: How to Git Push in 10 Steps
   • Guide: How to Write a Data Analyst Resume
   • Data Analysis: Pet Subscription Boxes
   • Data Analysis: Travel Assured

Additionally, I learned to webscrape using Python’s Beautiful Soup library and about the DataBricks Lakehouse Platform. I also have a Data Analyst Associate certificate and a Data Analyst Professional certificate – both from DataCamp!

I’m really excited for the month of October. My new job starts October 3 and I’m eager to meet and work with everyone at the Data School New York.
